The Bunrito® is a wrap specifically designed to facilitate the care of rabbits, cats, and small pets, while reducing the stress of restraint.
Inspired by the “burrito” technique used in veterinary clinics, it allows you to wrap your pet to limit their movement without excessive constraint. Thanks to its self-adhesive fabric, the Bunrito stays in place on its own, making handling much easier.
Its sunflower pattern is a tribute to my rabbit Pasteur, my sunshine, who was the first to test the prototype but unfortunately passed away before the product launch.

How to Wrap in the Bunrito®
There is no “single” way to use the Bunrito: the most important thing is to keep the face clear so they can breathe and feel secure. You need to test and find what works best for your pet! Warning: Always use under supervision – do not force, monitor breathing, and never leave your pet alone.
A few examples:
- Classic Burrito: Place the pet on the wrap and close it towards the back ⇒ Easy access for head and ear care or oral treatments.
- Variation: Use the wrap to scoop up the pet and close it towards the front ⇒ This allows you to release one paw at a time (front or back) to clip claws or check the underside.

What is the Bunrito for? The Bunrito is a self-adhesive wrap designed to facilitate the care of rabbits, cats, and other small pets. It allows you to gently immobilize the animal (“burrito” technique) to administer medicine, clean ears, clip claws, etc.
Can I use it alone? Yes! That is one of the main advantages of the Bunrito: it stays in place without external help, allowing you to perform certain care tasks alone without having to hold both the pet and the towel at the same time.
Will my pet panic? Restraint is often stressful for animals, but the Bunrito is designed to be quick to set up and reassuring. You must never force it: if the animal struggles too much, stop and try again more calmly later.
Is it suitable for cats and other small pets? Yes! Even though the name “Bunrito” is a nod to bunnies, the product is perfectly suitable for many cats, especially those who are difficult to handle. It has been tested on many exotic pets in specialized clinics. Ask your vet if you have any doubts. It can be used at home or in a veterinary clinic.
How do I wash the Bunrito? (The “Envelope” Fold) The Bunrito is machine washable at 30°C (86°F), air dry. Do not iron. It is recommended to fold it into an “envelope” shape (velcro sides touching) before washing to prevent it from bunching up in the machine.
Is it safe? The fabric has been laboratory-tested to guarantee the absence of harmful substances (formaldehyde, azo dyes). As with any restraint, it is important to supervise your pet during use, never leave them alone in the wrap, and always respect their comfort levels.
